Is it finally over? 9.5 years in the making baby! Bin Laden is finally gone! As I sat and watched the news this morning, all I heard in my head was U S A, U S A. Just like we chanted for the olympics! Let's just say that even though Obama hasn't been amazing, he definitely came out on top for this one!

Now let's pray that we finish what we started and get our soldiers home in one piece.

Weekend is almost here!!!

As you can assume from the title of this post, I'm a little excited for the weekend. The Sabres play Friday and then again on Sunday. We're getting closer to the CUP!!! LET'S GO BUFFALO! I'm such a Sabre freak!

Plus this weekend is also Easter. Tons of good food and candy! Sugar rush here I come!

And I also am taking the Buffalo Police Exam on Saturday, no going out Friday night - but oh well! I can't wait to take the exam and I don't think I've ever said that about a test before in my life!

Then there's the fact that well, it's the weekend...

Work has been quiet probably because most people are away on Easter/Spring break with their families. Not I! My parents are going away this following week and they're sure excited. I'm not. I hate when they're out of town. Gosh I'm such a baby....

Anywhoo I gotta get back to work but wanted to write a quick and pointless update.

So I just realized I really need some kind of web device at home. Everything web related I have to do at work or at my parent's house. Now don't get me wrong but really? What would you rather do? Sit in the comfort of your own home, at someone else' house, or constantly looking around to make sure you don't get in trouble at work. You get what I mean, right?

Since I decided to start this crazy blog idea, I've got to say, I have NO clue what to write about. I'm sure no one wants to read a bunch of gibberish and I doubt that I'm going to get lucky and get some kind of book deal or movie deal from my every day life...But here I am, typing away for your amusement. Not that I think anyone is reading this....

So since today is my first day of posting I decided to start it off with a funny little tid bit or poem. Just to put a smile on someone's face, as I don't know about where you are, but here in Buffalo, it's crappy out. Cold as usual. So how about a silly poem about friendship?

Friendship ~ None of that Sissy Sh*t
Are you tired of those sissy 'friendship' poems that always sound good, but never actually come close to reality?

Well, here is a series of promises that actually speak of true friendship.

You will see no cute little smiley faces on this ~ Just the stone cold truth of our great friendship.

1.. When you are sad ~ I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad.

2. When you are blue ~ I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.

3 When you smile ~ I will know you are thinking of something that I would probably want to be involved in.

4. When you are scared ~ I will rag on you about it every chance I get until you're NOT.

5. When you are worried ~ I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining.

6. When you are confused ~ I will try to use only little words.

7.. When you are sick ~ Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.

8. When you fall ~ I will laugh at your clumsy ass, but I'll help you up.

9. This is my oath .... I pledge it to the end. 'Why?' you may ask ~ because you are my friend.
Friendship is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it, but only you can feel the true warmth.
